Microwave and mmWave frequencies have long been prominately used in applications where high reliability parts are a must. As a result, StratEdge�s most enduring product lines was designed for these special applications; space, airborne and the defense industry.

In 1992, StratEdge introduced the SE20 line of ceramic microwave packages. The goal was to design and build a package adhering to Mil-Std 883, for space, defense and other applications where ultimate quality design and testing is required. StratEdge designed the package around a microstrip-stripline-microstrip transition operating from DC to 20 GHz. With the use of dimensionally stable, hardened ceramic, the SE20 offers the excellent insertion loss, return loss and isolation performance that S level projects demand.

The SE20 is available in a number of different I/O configurations as well as cavity and overall dimensions.

The MC Series was introduced in 1994 to provide a low cost alternative to conventional ceramic packages and glass-to-metal seal hybrid circuit containers. Standard products are now available with performance up to 18 GHz.
